Doha is actively facilitating communication between Tehran and Washington as diplomatic efforts continue to bridge gaps between the two nations, according to official statements from the Qatari government. Qatari Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Majed Al-Ansari confirmed that discussions and message exchanges remain underway through Doha and other regional partners aimed at making tangible progress.

Speaking in remarks cited by Al Jazeera, Al-Ansari underscored Doha's role as a key diplomatic conduit, stating that contacts and meetings are ongoing between the parties. He noted that Qatar supports regional stability initiatives, including actions by Saudi Arabia to safeguard its sovereignty, while addressing specific bilateral matters such as hosting an Iranian delegation to review developments concerning Iranian pilots.

Qatar has maintained a strategic position as an intermediary in Middle Eastern diplomacy, regularly hosting indirect negotiations and facilitating agreements between adversaries, notably the United States and Iran.
