While the device is marketed toward high-energy activities like hiking and weightlifting, the button provides utility for daily tasks by bypassing standard interface menus. Users can assign a single function at a time, though a Quick Switch menu allows for rapid reconfiguration during outdoor navigation or specific activities.

Basic functions include the flashlight, voice memos, translation, and music recognition, which utilizes the watch's Audio Intelligence capabilities. More complex assignments include the Stopwatch, Dive, and Workout apps. For instance, the Workout function allows users to initiate specific activities or mark segments mid-session.
